General
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser. They do not cause any harm to your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective, and secure.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
You can configure your browser to notify you about the setting of cookies, to allow cookies only in specific cases, to exclude cookies in general or for certain cases, and to automatically delete cookies when the browser is closed. Disabling cookies may impair the functionality of this website.
- Google Analytics
This website uses features of the Google Analytics web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
Google Analytics uses “cookies.” The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. ServiceOcean has a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior to optimize both its web presence and its advertising.
We have activated IP anonymization on this website. As a result, Google truncates your IP address within EU member states or other EEA agreement states before transmission to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
Google uses this information on behalf of ServiceOcean to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings. However, please note that in this case, you may not be able to use all features of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the following browser plugin:

We have signed a data processing agreement with Google. Data stored with Google linked to cookies, user IDs, or advertising IDs will be anonymized or deleted after 14 months. See details here:

This website uses the “Demographics” feature of Google Analytics. This allows reports to be created that include information on the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. These data come from Google’s interest-based advertising and from third-party visitor data and cannot be linked to a specific individual. You can disable this feature via your Google account settings or opt-out from data collection as described above.
2. Clarity
This website uses Clarity, a web analytics tool provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.
Clarity is used to analyze user behavior on this website. Mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behavior are anonymously recorded in order to improve the user experience based on the collected data. Clarity generates heatmaps that show which parts of the website users scroll to most frequently.

3. Google Analytics Remarketing
This website uses Google Analytics Remarketing in combination with the cross-device functions of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick, provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This function allows the advertising target groups created with Google Analytics Remarketing to be linked to the cross-device capabilities of Google AdWords and Google DoubleClick. This means that interest-based, personalized advertising messages, adapted to your previous usage and surfing behavior on one device (e.g. smartphone), can also be displayed on another of your devices (e.g. tablet or PC).
If you have given the corresponding consent, Google links your web and app browser history with your Google account. This allows the same personalized advertising messages to be shown on every device where you sign in with your Google account. To support this feature, Google Analytics collects Google-authenticated user IDs, which are temporarily linked to our Google Analytics data in order to define and create target groups for cross-device advertising.
You can permanently opt out of cross-device remarketing/targeting by disabling personalized advertising in your Google account settings:

4. Google AdWords and Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords, an online advertising program by Google Ireland Limited.
We use conversion tracking within Google AdWords. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. These cookies expire after 30 days and are not used to personally identify users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to that page.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. These cookies cannot be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained via the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted into conversion tracking. Customers are informed of the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion-tracking-tagged page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out by deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your browser settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
The processing of personal data via this cookie occurs only with your consent.

5. Facebook Pixel
This website uses the Facebook visitor action pixel for conversion tracking, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.
This allows tracking of user behavior after they are redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook ad. It helps evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and optimize future advertising strategies.
As the operator of this website, we do not have access to personally identifiable information of users. However, the data collected is processed by Facebook and may be linked to a specific user profile. Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes according to its data use policy, which allows Facebook ads to be shown both on and off Facebook. This use of data is beyond our control.
Data processing via this pixel takes place only with your consent.

6. Use of Account Engagement Marketing Automation (Account Engagement / Salesforce)
We use Account Engagement Marketing Automation, a software solution from salesforce.com Germany GmbH, Erika-Mann-Strasse 31, DE-80636 Munich.
